Notes |
- Henry Powers left his entire estate to Della and children with his son, Benjamin, as agent and manager for Della. Benjamin died soon after his father's death. William Henry apparently already had his share of the land.
We originally considered Della to be Benjamin's wife, but the 1880 census lists Della Powers (age 24) as Benjamin's Daugher-in-law, with three youngsters listed as Benjamin's granddaughters; Ariadna (age 1), Naddra J. (age 1) and Laura J. (age 3).
Della remarried and the Powers' land apparnetly passed over to them. Henry's will is WB#14, page 295.
