Notes |
- Ira and Samuel Jay Eller moved out to California to start a business of their own and they
were very successful. They started out doing what my grandpa calls, "Potato-swampin'" and as the years passed with lots and lots of hard work, they bought their first truck and tractor and went into the harvesting business, digging onions and potato's.
They grew and grew in their business and ended up with several new trucks, loaders and tractors and they moved their parents, Hill and Radie, out to California and took care of them the rest of their lives.
Eller Bro's Trucking still exists today and was passed down to the sons of Ira and Samuel Eller, and it is still a very prosperous business. (Johna Necochea 5/2000)
