James Carson Eller, 68, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Eller was born in Ashe County on August 16, 1952 to James Handford Eller and Reggie Ruth Vannoy Eller.
He was a district manager, having worked for Hardees for twenty two years and was most recently a truck driver.
Mr. Eller was a member of Holloways Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Eller and Glenn Eller; and seven sisters, Mabel Smith, Lessie Roland, Mae Eller, Faye Purdum, Edith Smith, June Donahue, and Alta Donahue. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carol Barnes Eller of the home; his children, Wendy Eller (David), Cathy Elizabeth Eller (John) all of Salisbury and Donald Mathis (Crystal) of Lexington; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dana Slack officiating and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome.
