    • Six of the children of John Thomas Paynter as shown here, come from the John Thomas Paynter will (dtd 20 Feb 1929 and probated 4 Mar 1935) (Warren County Will Book 55, p. 70.). The will does not name the seventh child. His obituary says there were seven children and that one had died before he passed.
      The will explains that John Thomas Paynter had already given some land to Maynard and that the rest of his 145 acres was to be divided among the five remaining children after both he and Cathrine had passed.
