Nancy Eller Lloyd, 85, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022.
She was born July 26, 1936, in Salisbury, to the late Melvin Wylie Eller and Letha Hahn Eller. Mrs. Lloyd was a graduate of Boyden High School and Salisbury Business College. She began her career working with The Salvation Army in Salisbury as a secretary, was later employed with Dixie Furniture at the Lexington and Linwood plants where she worked as a finisher, and retired from Partners-in-Learning. Mrs. Lloyd was a member of The Salvation Army and loved to read.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Lloyd, Sr.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her children, Charles Franklin "Dusty" Lloyd, Jr. (Doreen) of Salisbury, Tamra Lloyd Hawkins (Johnny) of Salisbury, and Christopher Wylie Lloyd (Shelia) of Salisbury; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Tuesday, May 17, at Powles Staton Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, in the chapel of Powles Staton Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Shoaf officiating.
Entombment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury.
