INDIANAPOLIS — Marjorie Barker McCormick, 87, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bloomington, died on Saturday, November 24, 2007, in Indianapolis. Born November 27, 1919, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Calvin A. and Minnie (Eller) Barker. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1937. She was a member of the East 91st St. Christian Church in Indianapolis, the Society of Indiana Pioneers, the Monroe County Historical Society and Bloomington Restorations, Inc.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Rice of Brownsburg and Mary Beth McCormick of Indianapolis; two brothers, Philip Barker of Bloomington and Charles Barker of Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. McCormick, in 1985, and one brother, Benton E. Barker, in 1999.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Allen Funeral Home of Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
