  • Notes
    • His formal education was limited but he was able to read, write, andcompute. His life was spent primarily in the timber industry. Hemastered all aspects of his trade -timber cutting, logging, sawmilling. He was highly skilled in running and maintaining smallsawmills or moving them from one timber job to another. He lived hisquiet christian life without harm to any other person. In politics hewas a republican while his second wife was a democrat - so politicswas a taboo subject among the children. The data on his children camefrom his family Bible and was submitted by his daughter, Hildred EllerMillsaps, Robbinsville, NC.
