James Granville Eller was born., reared, and married in Tennessee.Sometime between 1903 and 1905, he and his wife, Margaret Pressley, removed their family to Clebourne, Texas. Both he and Margaret weretalented musicians and so are many of their descendants. They haveorganized many musical groups and have performed on the radio and atother public events. This strain of musical talent seems to be adefinite Eller family characteristic that shows up generation aftergeeration. His descendants hold an annual reunion each year inCleburne, Texas on the last Sunday preceding Thanksgiving.
