Francis A. Eller, eleventh child of John Eller and Susan Smith, wasborn in Kentucky March 6th, 1830. He was married to Elizabeth Pauly inApril 1848. To this union were born the following children: Mary E.,John G., William J., Henrietta, Carrie B., Martha E., Zaring, Hill andIda M. Frank entered the ministry of the Methodist Church in 1859. wasordained Deacon in 1864 and Elder in 1872.
- [S3] continued., He was a member of the Indiana Conference and served the followingcharges: White Hall Circuit, 1867-1868; Newark, one year; Stanford,three years; Erie, three years; Paoli, one year; Harrodsburg, oneyear; Bloomfield, one year; Gosport, two years; Monrovia, one year;Morgantown, two years; Campbellsburg, three years; Hortonville oneyear, and Orleans, part of a year, after the death of the pastor. Hewas known over these charges as a faithful preacher and an efficientevangelist, and many testify of being led to Christ by him. He died athis home in Bloomington, Indiana, August 8th, 1905.
